I received a seemingly personalized rejection, but it looked a lot like another here:
While the premise of ________ was engaging and interesting, I'm afraid that I struggled to connect with your writing. It didn't propel me into the story the way that I'm looking for. I am sorry I am not emailing with better news and no doubt another agent will feel differently. I wish you all the very best luck finding a great home and enthusiastic champion for your work.

@idamjones I am sorry that *I* don't have better news for you, but unfortunately that is her standard form rejection letter.

Does anyone know if there's a way to send a message after being rejected? Her query form is closed and QM doesn't allow it.

Thank you for sending me your query! Unfortunately, after careful consideration, I have decided that it's not a great fit for me at this time. While the premise of _____ was engaging and interesting, I'm afraid that I struggled to connect with your writing. It didn't propel me into the story the way that I'm looking for. I am sorry I am not emailing with better news and no doubt another agent will feel differently. I wish you all the very best luck finding a great home and enthusiastic champion for your work. Thank you for considering me and best of luck with your future queries!
