But a bit weird to see that he lists both his fiction and non-fiction interests as "none".

However, not being indiginous and not writing indiginous stories, I won't look any further.

I think he's looking specifically for northern American indigenous authors-- Canadian and united states, turtle island- not just indigenous authors. There is a tremendous need for agents who are Native American like myself. There is so much that non natives don't understand -- like spirit animals, which are prominent in my book, and vision quests. I have had wonderful agents reject my book saying my writing is gorgeous but they can't sell 'anthropomorphic animals' in YA ( groan) or portal stories. They just don't get that vision quests are not portal fantasies and the importance of nature and animals in our culture especially in terms of guidance, healing and teaching.
