Q: 7/30/25
R: 7/30/25 quick response
Same form rejection as everyone else
"Thank you for the opportunity to see your pages. Unfortunately, I don't feel I am the right agent for this project, so I'm passing. Just because I wasn't quite drawn in, however, doesn't mean there isn't another agent out there who will love it. I encourage you to re-work your query so that the plot points, obstacles, and character(s) attempts to overcome them are more clear."
Can't really appreciate the feedback when she gives the same notes to everyone she rejects:(

@kyliesolas same for me. I’m actually really curious about my query now. Of all possible faults, I thought I had those parts addressed. Maybe not! But maybe this is a way of saying, I didn’t even get to the pages ..

queried 7/28/25, form rejection 7/29/25, ouch.
I got the same form rejection everyone else is getting:

Obviously this is completely unhelpful, why make people worry about their query with a vague form response? I thought it might be actual feedback so once again I appreciate query tracker for shedding light on the weird ways agents make us doubt ourselves.

Form Rejection - July 28/2025
Very nice and kind rejection ; she even gave some really good pointers for the Q letter in which I was so glad to receive considering I have very little experience at typing one out and most rejections are prefilled with the standard line “ doesn't fit or not interested in the project etc. 👍
